Our Team
Varun Ajjarapu
Varun Ajjarapu is Co-Founder of Thunder Rock Capital, where he leverages his deep capital markets expertise to advise growth companies and institutional investors. Prior to co-founding Thunder Rock Capital, Varun worked at D. Boral Capital, participating in multiple capital markets transactions with a focus on M&A and RTOs. He earned his Master’s degree in Business Analytics from Cornell University, was a member of the basketball team at Penn State, and attended the United States Coast Guard Academy. Varun holds FINRA Series 7, 79, and 63 licenses.
Co-Founder & Vice President
Howard Doss
Howard A. Doss serves as a senior advisor to Thunder Rock Capital, where he supports the firm’s investment banking activities with decades of experience in acquisitions, capital raising, and public company leadership. As Founder and President of STARadio Corp., he has led the evaluation, negotiation, and financing of strategic transactions. He previously served as CFO of TRxADE Health, Inc. and Aesther Healthcare Acquisition Corp, overseeing public reporting and a successful SPAC business combination with Ocean Biomedical, Inc.. At Thunder Rock, Mr. Doss advises on M&A strategy, transaction structuring, capital markets positioning, and financial oversight.

Ryan Ahamad
Ryan Ahamad is an Investment Banking Analyst at Thunder Rock Capital, where he supports M&A advisory, capital raising, and strategic transaction execution. He is responsible for financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence coordination, and preparation of client marketing materials. Ryan works closely with senior bankers and clients to evaluate growth opportunities, structure transactions, and support capital markets initiatives across a range of industries.
